
Each lot in this wine was aged in French and American oak before a small portion was selected for additional ageing in Bourbon barrels. This process adds a rich, evocative charred quality to the vanilla, dried herbs, cassis, cherry and currants of the Cabernet and makes the wine particularly suited for pairing with smoked ribs or a Pittsburgh rare steak.
