This characterful wine is from one of the most highly regarded regions in France. Sixty percent was aged for a year in concrete vats, with the remainder aged in 400-litre oak barrels of various ages. It's elegant and fruity, with a fine harmony and weight. Black fruit, black pepper, savoury herbs and smoke make this a great option for grilled lamb. It will drink through 2030+.
