A spicier if not more elegant nose combines notes of poached plum, dark cherry liqueur and a plethora of floral wisps. The mid-palate is also quite supple and generous yet manages to retain reasonably good detail on the refined, lightly stony and youthfully austere finale. Note that this is slightly firmer and a wine that will likely need all of a decade, and perhaps a few more years, to reach its full apogee. This too is worth a look. Drink: 2030+. Outstanding. Score - 91. (Allen Meadows, burghound.com, April 10, 2022))
