An exuberantly fresh nose is comprised by the essence of red cherry, pomegranate, earth and a suggestion of the sauvage. There is fine concentration, focus and obvious power to the larger-scaled flavors that culminate in a long, mineral-driven and balanced finish though the markedly firm and grippy tannins flash a touch of rusticity. This is clearly built to age and is going to need it. Drink 2032+. Score - 91-93. (Allen Meadows, burghound.com, Jan. 10, 2019)
