This wine comes from one of the most recognizable wine families in France. It's a 50/50 split of Syrah and Grenache. The Syrah is vinified in large oak foudres, while the Grenache is fermented in stainless steel. Though the wine has great structure, the star is certainly the generous black fruit, black pepper and garrigue. So good. Try it with grilled lamb or shiitake burgers.
