This is a nicely polished, fairly rich and well balanced cab-merlot. Oak is sitting a bit heavy on the nose emitting resin and vanillin, but the raspberry/currant fruit is plentiful as well, along with some typical Niagara greenness. It is medium-full bodied, well balanced with 13% alcohol, firm acid and moderate tannin. As a result it is drinking quite well now, but like many Ontario Bordeaux blends it should also age well. The length is excellent. Score - 90. (David Lawrason, winealign.com, Dec. 15, 2021)
