One of the founding members of Ontario's Vintners Quality Alliance (VQA), the sixth-generation Speck family boasts more than 120ha in the Niagara Peninsula. This limpid, youthful Riesling comes from vines planted in 1984, and is replete with fresh apples, pears, lemon sorbet and grapefruit peel. Lightweight and chalky with a nimble execution and tense core. Electrifying acidity balanced by modest sweetness make it a lip smacker. Drinking window: 2022-2029. Score - 93.
