This wine is named for southern Portugal's Sobro cork oak forest, which is one of the most diverse ecosystems in the world. A blend of Aragonez (Tempranillo) with Alicante Bouschet, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, it's aged for six months in French oak followed by three months in American oak. Expect dark berries, smoky earth and spices and pair with caçoila (Portuguese stewed beef) or steak.
