This Zin hails from the High Valley AVA, where vines are planted at elevations of between 490 and 915 metres. There's wonderful depth to the smoky dark fruit, aromatic herbs and sweet-edged oak spice, with excellent structure. It's a big, robust wine, but with such balance that it never feels bullish. Perfect for steak, barbecued ribs, or sweet-and-smoky baked beans with caramelized onions.
