The German grapes grown in Alsace offer more perfumed aromas and bolder flavours than their finely detailed German counterparts. This aromatic, spicy example is full of flavour, with notes of pineapple, lychee, ginger root and chamomile. From the renowned Cattin family, it's a good example of Alsatian quality without the price tag.[The Concours International de Lyon did not include a tasting note.] Score - Gold.
