The 2018 Chablis Côte de Léchet 1er Cru comes from 25-year-old vines and is matured in stainless steel vat and wood. It has a light, airy apple blossom bouquet that would benefit from a little more presence. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity. Touches of white peach and Conference pear are well defined, and a welcome touch of spice appears on the finish. This is an early-drinking yet delightful Côte de Léchet. Drinking window: 2020-2027. Score - 91. (Neal Martin, vinous.com, July 2020)
