Obsidian Ridge Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 750 mL VINTAGES

The 2017 is mostly Cabernet Sauvignon, with splashes of Petit Verdot and Malbec. There's a lifted lavender note on the nose and the palate is big and powerful, with ripe dark cherry, plum, spice and some candied fruit tones. Bright, fresh acidity provides perfect balance to the rich, almost sweet ripe fruit. A great pairing for gourmet sausages, veal chops or peppercorn steak. (Vintages panel, July 2019)
