This late-harvest pinot gris leaps from the glass with aromas of rosewater, exotic incense and citrus. It bathes the palate with lemon drop candy and lemon zest intertwined with sprigs of herbs and mineral notes. This is medium bodied with good texture and a drying finish and aftertaste. Delightful on its own as an aperitif that will get the gastric juices going, it also pours particularly well with scallops pan-seared in butter and placed over a bed of olive-oiled arugula. Drink or cellar. Exceptional Value! Score - 90. (Vic Harradine, winecurrent.com, Jan. 4, 2020)
