This is a stylish, good value Bordeaux from a big vintage, now heading to maturity. It is a merlot-based blend including cabernet franc and cabernet sauvignon. The nose is notably ripe berry and plum, with some florality and subtle wood spice. I like the elegant texture and fine tannin. Alcohol is a bit elevated; the length is very good.
