
This primarily old-vine wine has been produced since 1983 and is crafted through the use of the appassimento technique. Depending upon the nuances of the vintage, the wine may be aged for as many as nine years, in large oak casks, before release. Characteristically filled with dark fruit, spice, tar and tobacco notes, this is a wine that will cellar for three decades or more.
