Toasted aromas fight for the limelight with the intensely fruity flavors and hints of herbs in this carmenere from the clay-rich soils of Isla de Maipo in the Maipo Valley. The fruit definitely wins the battle on the palate, though, with the notes of succulent red fruits amidst herbal details and a very friendly texture with silky tannins. Score - 91.
