The profile of the cabernet sauvignons from Alto Cachapoal, one of the best sources for the variety in Chile, tends to have the spirit that this wine offers. Rich ripe red fruits, a bit of spice, and a very mild herbal character. In this Gran Reserva, the palate is silky and full of fruity flavors amid acidity that provides just the right amount of freshness. The grapes for this cabernet come from the La Moralina Vineyard, which Vistamar began planting in the late 2000s. Score - 93. (Patricio Tapia, guiadescorchados.cl, 2022)
