Offering classic varietal purity with gorgeous fruit power, the wine shows cassis, dark cherry, cedar and subtle spice aromas on the nose with a hint of dried herb complexity. It's wonderfully weighted and supple on the palate, displaying excellent fruit intensity backed by fine chalky tannins, finishing long and flavoursome. At its best: now to 2029. Score - 93.
