What an enticing nose of floral honey, candied lemon and brioche. Stunning interplay of creaminess, concentrated fruit and filigreed acidity on the medium-bodied palate. Very long, vibrant finish with such precision. Hard not to love this. Made from 100% old-vine chardonnay from the Coteaux Vitryats, with such low dosage it could be marketed as Extra Brut. Drink or hold. Score - 95. (Stuart Pigott, jamessuckling.com, Aug. 6, 2024)
