Considerably better than the regular bottling, the 2016 Chateauneuf du Pape Chanssaud d'Antan shows hints of oak aging in its scents of almond paste. Raspberries cascade over the rich, full-bodied palate before finishing bright, fresh and zesty. It's a bit edgy and tannic, so hold it for a couple of years and then drink it over the next decade. Drink date: 2020-2030. Score - 93. (Joe Czerwinski, robertparker.com, Aug. 31, 2018)
