Brilliant violet color. Assertively perfumed aromas of Chambord, cherry-cola, potpourri and incense, with licorice and garrigue nuances building in the glass. Shows fine delineation and tension on the palate, offering alluringly sweet red/blue fruit and candied lavender flavors and an exotic spice flourish. This clings with real authority on the penetrating finish, featuring a resonating cherry note and round, well-judged tannins. This was made with de-stemmed fruit, fermented in stainless steel tanks, and aged in underground concrete vats. Drinking window: 2026-2036. Score - 94. (Josh Raynolds, vinous.com, Jan. 2023)
