Worth holding your nose to the glass for a while, to eke out the plummy, slightly chocolaty fruit character, together with an interesting, sweaty mineral note that turns to a more herbal trait. Medium-bodied with good intensity and balance and more straightforward fruit flavors. The tannins are sunk into the wine, allowing for a racy, fresh and almost tangy fruit finish. Lots going on here. Drink now. Score - 92. (jamessuckling.com, Aug. 16, 2023)
