Licorice, rose and wild strawberries combine as the 2022 Rosso di Montalcino develops. This pretty blending of southern Montalcino fruit and Sangiovese acidity comes across as ripe yet juicy with a mineral core to contrast. It finishes with decent length and potency, leaving a youthful tension that will require a short stay in the cellar to resolve. Drinking window: 2025-2030. Score - 90.
