This pours pale tawny-brown with the yellow rim of old wine. It has a ripe, sweet nose of caramel apple, peanut shell, orange pekoe tea and charred wood. It is medium-full, quite sweet, smooth and hot on the palate. Considerable burn on the finish. The length is excellent. Tasted January 2018. Score - 89. (David Lawrason, winealign.com)
