[Though not the same release reviewed by Vic Harradine, this wine will offer similar character and quality.] Lifted appealing aromas of dark berry fruit - raspberry, currant and plum compote - abound on the nose of this gem. A frothy mousse when poured, it captures the palate with a lively, fresh wash of off-dry flavours - black plum, bramble berry and dark cherry adorned with piquant spice, mocha and hints of dark chocolate. It finishes lengthy with persistent purity of fruit from palate replays. Pour on its own to welcome guests or with roast duck. Remove from the fridge twenty minutes before service. Drink now. [A style that will drink for 2+ years from release.] Score - 93. (Vic Harradine, winecurrent.com, Dec. 7, 2021)
