The third in a series from two huge names, Edition 3 of the Bowmore 22 Year Old Aston Martin Masters' Selection was matured in European oak oloroso sherry casks and American oak hogsheads before it was bottled up at 51% ABV.
It was created as a continuous collaboration between Ron Welsh, Master Blender for Bowmore and Marek Reichman, Chief Creative Officer for Aston Martin. This is their third collaboration. They came together in a powerful and inspiring way, and they aimed to create something that expressed beauty, harmony and perfect balance.
It has flavours of lemon peel, red berries, poached peaches, vanilla, treacle, salted toffee, Muscovado sugar, roasted chestnuts and an elegant layer of peat smoke.
This is a strong, sweet whisky with great depth, richness and intensity.
