Casas del Toqui's great heritage is its old cabernet sauvignon vines planted on the alluvial soils at the winery's property in 1943. They use this material to produce this fine-nosed cabernet full of fruit with herbal touches and spice notes. But the palate is where the action really is. The tannins are the fine, sharp, tongue-prickling needles found in all of Toqui's cabernets, along with the herbal finish, the red fruits, the sensation of tension and energy. A cabernet for cabernet lovers. Score - 94. (Patricio Tapia, guiadescorchados.cl, 2023)
