From the Palmela region of Portugal's Setubal Peninsula, this is a popular and well-made blend of 40 % syrah, and 60% local red varieties. Flavours of cherry, strawberry and blackberry are supported by a supple tannic structure. Excellent value and an ideal partner for grilled chicken, pork with clams or cured meats.
