This Montepulciano is produced in the medium hill of Abruzzo region. Grapes are traditionally vinified by a long maceration of the skins at a controlled temperature. Colour is intense ruby red. Bouquet is elegant with black cherry and wild fruits overtones blended in black pepper notes and balsamic aromas. Taste is full bodied and velvety, with smooth tannins and pleasant, persistent finish. It's perfect with mushrooms and truffles based first dishes or roast lamb game and baked red meats.
