Classic style here, focused on dried cherries, strawberries, licorice and tobacco. Violets and mint, too. The complexity of the floral bouquet returns on the palate. Full-bodied with weight and concentration, velvety tannins and a tense finish. Drinkable now, but best from mid-2025. Score - 94. (jamessuckling.com, Sept. 24, 2024)
