This is a rich, concentrated, and ripe Chianti Classico, with notes of plump red and dark fruit, spice, and herbs. The palate is medium to full-bodied and wonderfully balanced, with a sense of density and warmth, yet supported by firm acids. The finish is sustained and engaging. Tannins are still a bit gritty and I would cellar this for at least a couple of years to let it mellow and resolve. Tasted August 2023. Score - 91. (Megha Jandhyala, winealign.com)
