From purchased grapes, Champs Royaux is an historic mark created in the past by William Fèvre. 5% is fermented in old wood from Bouchard, with the rest in steel. Lovely notes of confit lemon here, very good acidity and minerality. A complex, saline, age-worthy Chablis which will go beautifully with food. Drinking window: 2022-2025. Part of AOP Chablis 2020: Top-Scoring Wines. Score - 91. (Andy Howard, MW, decanter.com, Dec. 1, 2021)
