Certainly a plush, velvety style, though tannins are dark, sinewy, and acidity is fresh and lifting. Nice feel of staining the palate, choc-berries, salted liquorice, cedar wood scents and flavours, some crushed rock minerally stuff going on and a general sense of structure, architecture and pitch perfect medium weight.
